Douglas Bailes D.O.
Dr. Bailes was born in Kirskville, MO and was raised in Gold Beach, OR. He completed medical school at A.T. Still University, Kirskville, MO in 1987 and a Family Practice residency at Phoenix General Hospital, Phoenix, AZ in 1989. Dr. Bailes is board certified in the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and has been practicing family medicine in the West Valley since 1989.
Married to his wife, Elizabeth, for over 30 years, Dr. Bailes has two grown children, both of whom are pursuing careers in the medical field.
Dr. Bailes strongly promotes the health of his patients through state-of-the-art medicine, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and healing prayer. He also volunteers as a co-director with his wife in the Healing Hearts Healing Rooms, an after-hours Christian prayer ministry that meets in the office. Nichole V – Back Office Medical Assistant & Office Manager
Nichole was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona before moving to Glendale in 2012. Before having her daughter in 2004, Nichole worked in healthcare for about seven years. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a medical assistant in 2019 and has worked for Dr. Bailes since. She absolutely loves dogs and actively participates in a Basset Hound Rescue program. She currently has 3 dogs of her own, named Mia, Lacey, and Abby. Nichole enjoys spending her free time with family and traveling up north to Prescott to visit her parents.
Genesis “Gigi” C – Front Desk Coordinator
Genesis (better known as “Gigi”) was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. She graduated with her Associate’s Degree from Glendale Community College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in communications and family studies at Arizona State University. When she isn’t picking up phone calls for Dr. Bailes you can most likely find her shopping for some new crocs. Gigi is a Gemini, a proud tortoise mom of 2, and a cow print enthusiast.
Keiry O – Medical Assistant & Medical Records
Keiry graduated from Carrington College with honors as a medical assistant however, she is currently in the process of furthering her education to become a diagnostic medical sonographer. Some of Keiry’s favorite things to do include cooking, watching movies, and visiting family in Mexico. Keiry will often make references to movies or tv shows that maybe not everyone has seen however, the one she talks about most often is SpongeBob which happens to be her childhood favorite show.
Jenee S – Medical Assistant & Referrals
Jenee (pronounced like “Renee” but with a J) received her medical assistant certification from Everest college in 2014. She has then worked in departments such as pediatrics, orthopedics, cardiology, and now family practice. She is happy with what she does and feels as though she is right where she needs to be. Jenee has 4 beautiful children and in her free time loves to read and laugh with friends and family.
Ashley A – Medical Assistant
Ashley was born in El Paso, TX. Raised in the West Valley, comes from a large family of 5 sisters and 1 brother. Married to her best friend, loving husband Richard. They have 3 lovely children together, who are giving Ashley and Richard gray hairs at a young age! She values her time spent with her family like, family vacations to the beach or going on hikes, road trips, and scenic drives in the state. Graduated in 2007 from The Bryman School of Phoenix for Medical Assistant. Has 13 years of experience in Emergency Room care before joining the team with Dr. Bailes.
Niyati G – Medical Biller and Coder
Niyati was originally born in India where she received a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology. She relocated to Phoenix in 2012 and earned her coding certification through the AAPC in 2014. She joined Dr. Bailes’ team in 2017 and loves the combination of healing prayer and medicine. She enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and son.
